This is my “standard” budget. It fluctuates month to month, but this is what I start with. This is  based on 2 paychecks, so there are two months that have an extra paycheck which boost my savings significantly.

401k: $1189  (including partial match)
Roth IRA: $426 ( maxed overall)
E-fund: $25
Long Term Travel Fund: $50
Wedding & Honeymoon Fund (spring 2010):   $500

Living/Bills
Rent: $900
Student Loan: $25 (optional, deferred at 0%)
Insurance: $100 (car and renter)
Car/Car Fund: $100
Health Spending Account: $40
Gas: $130
Grocery: $155
Utilities: $25

Non-essentials
Internet/Netflix: $23
Restaurants: $65
Clothes: $60
Entertainment: $70 (going out and doing stuff, alcohol purchased for home)
Home: $30 (laundry, cleaning stuff, decor)
Personal: $50 (haircuts, shampoo, make-up, etc.)
Gifts/Gift Fund: $75
Travel/Travel Fund: $250  (includes backpacking/hiking stuff)
Fitness: $15 (save up for big ticket irregular items like running shoes)
Miscellaneous: $125 (can be used for anything)
