November Net Worth

December 1, 2008

Net worth this month was relatively flat, with an increase of $765 in cash and a (net) loss of $851 in retirement accounts. This includes the money I put into my retirement accounts this month. It does not include today’s volatile market moves (S&P currently down 5.5 percent). Ick.

Anyway, I’ll take flat over what I’ve suffered the past few months. Details available at NetworthIQ.

Hi there, I’m a big fan of your blog. I noticed your NetworthIQ entry for December shows that you added over $150,000 in cash assets, but based on this post, I’m guessing that might be a mistake. Also, December hasn’t really occurred yet. Anyway, I really don’t mean to be picky, I just was curious about what was going on. And if the extra $150,000 is real, well then, that is just awesome!

    Yeah typo, unfortunately!

I do update my networth throughout the month as it is happening (just so I’m not surprised by humongous drops!), but I don’t update it on my blog until the end of the month.
